This policy explains our full business terms & conditions

1. Who we are

Please note: if a booking is cancelled or access is not provided as agreed, you may incur a reasonable charge to cover any loss of labour earnings.

2. Scope of services

These terms apply to all quotations, maintenance visits, fencing supply/installation, pressure washing, weed-spraying, and commercial grounds maintenance agreements. Accepting a quotation, making a booking, or paying a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms.

3. Quotations & variations

Quotations are valid for 30 days.

Work is carried out as described in the quotation or service agreement.

Client-requested changes or unforeseen site conditions may be priced as variations and agreed in writing before proceeding.

4. Access & client responsibilities

Safe and reasonable access must be provided during agreed working hours (typically 8am–4:30pm). We will liaise with you further for exact timings.

Sites must be clear of personal items and pet waste.

You confirm boundaries are correctly marked. We accept no liability for boundary disputes.

Underground services (pipes, cables, drainage) must be disclosed before work. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked services.

Water/electricity supply should be available where required.


5. Environmental & legal compliance

All hedge and shrub work is carried out in compliance with the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981. We will not disturb active bird nests and may postpone work if found.

All machinery (including chainsaws) is used in line with PUWER regulations by trained staff.

Herbicide spraying is carried out only by staff with appropriate certification (e.g., PA1/PA6).


6. Materials & standards

Materials supplied are new and suitable for purpose. Timber may naturally vary in colour, knots, and may expand/contract.

Title to materials remains with us until paid for in full.


7. Guarantees

Manufacturer guarantees are provided with all fencing materials and installations, in line with the supplier’s terms.

Grounds maintenance: outcomes such as weed control depend on weather and site conditions. We guarantee work is performed with reasonable care and skill.


8. Weather & rescheduling

Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to unsafe or unsuitable conditions (e.g., high winds, heavy rain, frozen ground, nesting birds).

We always aim to keep to agreed timescales, but with factors such as weather changes or adjustments to other jobs, our schedule may occasionally run slightly ahead or behind. If this happens, we will liaise closely with you to confirm a suitable time. Our goal is to minimise disruption, keep you fully informed, and ensure that all work is completed at a time convenient for you.


9. Payment terms

Payments must be made in line with the instructions on the invoice.

Commercial clients: payment is expected within 31 days of the invoice date.

Residential clients and all other invoices: payment is expected within 7 days of the invoice date.

Late payments may incur additional charges.


10. Cancellations

One-off work: you may be charged for any loss of labour earnings caused by a cancellation.

Ongoing maintenance contracts: may be cancelled with 30 days’ notice after any agreed minimum term. Pre-paid visits will be refunded pro-rata, less discounts already received.


11. Health & safety

We are health & safety trained, comply with ROLO (Register of Land-based Operatives) requirements, and operate in accordance with UK safety regulations. Please keep children, pets, and third parties away from work areas and machinery. We hold public liability insurance; copies available on request.

12. Complaints

Please notify us of any issues within 14 days of work completion. We will investigate and, where appropriate, rectify defects promptly.

13. Photos, video & marketing

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you agree that we may take before/after photographs and create short video content of the work undertaken for records and promotional use. We will always ensure that no individuals from the household, business, or public are included in any media. We will also take care to avoid capturing any private pictures, personal items, or sensitive information. No personal details will ever be shared.
